We based our choices mostly off of the books my older son had read in 4th grade {Robinson Crusoe, Mighty Men, Island of the Blue Dolphins} and added some in based on interest and library finds.

These are the books that were on my original list that he did not read yet but we still might get to. I want to keep this list for myself so I can refer back to it for my younger daughter who will be ready for these very soon!
